We are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced people to join our management committee and help govern the work of Stepping Stones. We have identified areas where we know we need more expertise, but we are also keen to hear from people who are interested in supporting the work of this fantastic charity.
As a Trustee, you will be involved in key decision making to ensure this charity is well managed and delivers a good service for our users. The committee meets 6 times a year, so minimum time commitment is attendance of these meetings and reading brief papers ahead of the meeting. We would welcome involvement in sub committees for those with specific interests.
We are especially interested in people with one or more of the following:
– skills to assist in the strategic development of the service, for example experience of working in the charity sector.
– experience in social work or education or related field.
– charity management skills in particular HR and fundraising
