Our walking groups are a great way to get out and about, visit new places, spend time with friends and make new friends. We visit places of interest like museums, galleries and botanical gardens. Trips usually take place on Saturdays and carers and support workers are invited to attend.

Thanks to funding from the Tesco’s Bags of Help scheme, our planned activities for 2017 are:

Thursday 6th April – BECKENHAM PLACE PARK
Travelling by train from Peckham Rye. Walking round the beautiful groups of Beckenham Place Park, visiting the café and then heading back to Peckham. Cost £6.  10.30 – 3.30

Meeting at London Bridge, taking the river boat to Greenwich and walking around Greenwich Park before taking the boat back to London Bridge. Cost £15. Carers go free.  10.30 – 3.30

Saturday 17th June – LULLINGSTONE CASTLE, SHOREHAM – KENT. Travelling by train from Peckham. A short walk to the castle, where we can enjoy the gardens and café. Cost £15. Carers go free. 10.00 – 4.00

Saturday 8th July – WALK ALONG REGENTS CANAL. Travelling to Kentish Town by train. Walking along canal, passing by London Zoo. Travelling back to Peckham Rye. Cost £6.  10.30 – 3.30

Thursday 3rd August – SEASIDE TRIP TO BRIGHTON. Travelling by train from Victoria and enjoying a day at the Seaside. Cost £20. Carers go free.  10.30 – 6.30

Saturday 16th September – ROTHERHITHE WALK. Travel by train from Peckham Rye and enjoy a riverside walk along the Thames. Cost £6. 10.30 – 3.30
